Trees are budding, many are starting to bloom out, the and the flowers are reaching toward the sun. In another week or so Matheson St will also be in bloom. Keep an eye out for it.

This little town of Healdsburg has a rather large history behind it. In fact, I drive down some of Healdsburg’s most historic streets everyday on my way to work. Many of the houses on these streets are living pieces of Healdsburgs history. I thought it would be neat to display a few of them for everyone, and have a little fun experimenting with color in the process… you’ll see. Enjoy!

It was overcast today, heading out towards Lake Sonoma. All the foliage once green and flourishing, now gone with the change of season. The long drive out Dry Creek Valley has such a calming effect on these quiet winter days. Enjoy the scenery along the way to Lake Sonoma.

Snow fell on the peaks around Sonoma Wine Country this morning. The cool air pushing down from the Gulf of Alaska created an unseasonably cold spell that has now added a dusting of snow. The Mayacama Mountains rise up out of Alexander Valley and separate Sonoma County from Lake County. This portion of the coastal range hold the highest points in Sonoma County.
